CELEBRATING OUR 7TH SEASON!!!
This weekly event is scheduled to happen every WEDNESDAY through November 14th, 2012. This is a Rain OR Shine event on the Outside Oceandeck. (In the event of rain, this Jazz event is moved into their indoor ballroom)
This event will feature National, Regional, Local and Emerging Jazz Artists – Come Support Jazz Music!!!
Get there early for the best seats – Limited Chairs and Tables available on a first come first serve basis.
NEW EVENT INFORMATION for 2012…. due to the size of crowd that attends this very popular weekly Jazz event (over 700+ people most weeks), the Crowne Plaza is requesting the patrons for the 2012 season to please be considerate with the “holding of” chairs and tables. FOR EXAMPLE: It is asked that 1 person not hold/reserve several tables and several empty chairs for people who are not on-site yet -AND- in the attempt to provide better and faster drink/food service, the Crowne Plaza asks that the moving of chairs/tables from one area of the deck to another without management permission is appreciated for serving reasons. Enforcement of this will be subject to the event rules and the management on duty.
Your cooperation and understanding is very appreciated!!! The goal is to have as many people as possible enjoy this FREE weekly Jazz event. Thanks to the Crowne Plaza for their generous sponsorship.

This weekly event is scheduled to happen every THURSDAY through November 15th, 2012. This is a Rain OR Shine event on the Mambo’s Outside Ocean restaurant deck area, located in the back oceanview area of the International Palms Resort. (In the event of severe rain, this Jazz event is moved into their indoor Commanders Club bar-restaurant area)
This event will feature National, Regional, Local and Emerging Jazz Artists – Come Support Jazz Music!!!
This is a VARIOUS SEATING STYLED EVENT.
There are chairs and tables available on a first come first serve basis at the Mambo’s outside bar/restaurant area on the upper and lower decks. In addition, there are selected grassy areas behind and to the outside right side of the stage, So in these areas…..Feel free to bring your chairs and blankets to enjoy this outdoor oceanside event.
NOTE: Selected parts of this event area may have an obstructed or limited views of the band….but You will still be able to hear the band. The goal is to have as many people as possible to come enjoy this FREE weekly Jazz event, so your cooperation is always appreciated. Thanks to the International Palms for their generous sponsorship.

PERFORMING AT A GROOVE JAZZ EVENT
GETTING YOUR MUSIC PLAYED ON WGRV THE GROOVE:
If you are a Jazz Artist or Jazz Band and would like to submit your music to WGRV The Groove for possible radio airplay or performance consideration, please mail us a CD along with your contact information.
WGRV The Groove is very open to playing music from new and emerging Jazz artists (providing the recorded quality of the CD is broadcast quality and meets selected Groove programming standards).
WGRV The Groove hires local, regional, and national Jazz bands to perform at hundreds of Groove Jazz hosted events yearly and various other Florida Events/Festivals. To be considered for any of these opportunities, you must be able to perform in some cases at least (2) 75 minute sets of Fun entertaining Jazz-style related music. Please mail us a demo sample CD of your music, plus any pictures or videos, and references would be helpful.
